Our Farm
Pam and Rick Taylor started raising miniatures in 1997. Our daughter, Trisha, showed big horses for years, but Pam always wanted a miniature horse, from the first time that she saw one at the Hoosier Horse Fair in 1990. Pam’s dream came true on Mother’s Day in 1997, when Trisha purchased a very special Mother’s Day gift - a tiny dark bay colt, Dundee’s Little Man, from our long time friends, Ron and Joyce Koop. Miniature Horses are like Lay’s Potato Chips and you can’t have just one. We now have 9 miniatures and our retired Appaloosa show horse, Tide One On.
Taylor’s Tiny Treasures is a small breeding farm in Muncie, Indiana. The Taylor’s are committed to raising quality miniatures, rather than quantity. Visitors are always welcome. Pam is a special education teacher, and her classrooms often visit the farm. Rick is very involved with the local Boys and Girls Club, so groups from the club have visited our farm. We love sharing our passion for miniature horses with the children and community.
We have concentrated on the Buckeroo line in our breeding program and are very pleased with the results. We want to thank John Eberth from Arion Management for showing Astro and Ice this year. Ice was reserve champion yearling filly at the AMHR Nationals and top ten at AMHA World in 2005.
We also raise Yorkshire Terriers and often have tiny puppies for sale.
